It is our 16th year of operation here at Khao Lak Scuba Adventures and we’ve decided to celebrate in style with a special announcement.
Today we became the very first PADI 5 Star Career Development Centre (CDC) in Khao Lak!
For those who don’t know what this rating is, let us explain. The ranking of PADI 5 Star CDC is the highest ranking a dive company can achieve through PADI. It means that we are committed to ensuring we provide top quality training right from your first breaths underwater, all the way through to becoming an instructor and beyond.
We offer plenty of specialty courses for our instructors to take part in and improve themselves as divers and we even have our very own Cruise Director Course in which we teach instructors how to take charge of a liveaboard boat and run it as effectively and as safely as possible.
Because of all of this extra training we offer our instructors it ensure s that all of our customers receive the best quality training and diving experiences that they can get.
This extra training for our instructors is offered by our incredible multi award winning Platinum Course Director duo, Mark Soworka and Shayne Ng. With their extensive combined knowledge and love for diving, our instructors are able to flourish and achieve everything they want to achieve under the guidance of Mark and Shayne.
Having Mark and Shayne here as well as our dedicated Divemaster trainers, Patricia and Jack, makes us the hotspot on the west coast of Thailand for professional dive training.
It’s not just diver training that we are passionate about, we are also partnered with Trash Hero Khao Lak and help to organise and provide volunteers for the weekly beach clean up. On our boats we ensure that no single use plastic is taken on board, this helps to cut down the use of such plastics and also makes sure that nothing can accidentally be knocked overboard or blown away by the wind, keeping our beloved ocean as clean as possible.
