What an epic, amazing, fantastic trip we had on Manta Queen 2 on our 3 days and 3 nights Similan Island Liveaboard trip number 247.

We have started our journey at Koh Bon Island with 17 guests on board.

Right from the first dive we were all very happy and excited. On the first dive in Koh Bon Bay we found multiple moray eels, scorpion fish, sea snake and few groups were extremely lucky to encounter huge nurse shark resting under under a rock in the bay. That was probably one of the biggest nurse sharks I have ever seen, easily 3+ meters long and very fat - Awesome!
Next two dive at the West Ridge and North Ridge gave us tones of marine life. We saw octopus, devil scorpion fish, napoleon wrasses, stingray, some really awesome nudibranches and of course a lot of other fishes!!
Sunset dive in Koh Tachai was very cool. Huge trevallies and rainbow runners hunting around and of course beautiful corals everywhere.

Following day we did 3 dives in Richelieu Rock. As always this dive site is amazing with all marine life it has to offer. We spotted pineapple fish, ghost pipefish, spearing mantis shrimps, turtles and huge school of barracudas.
But the highlight of the day and of the trip was dive Richelieu Rock when everyone from our boat were lucky to encounter 2 WHALE SHARKS swimming around the ¨Rock¨ for half an hour with us. One was a juvenile, just over 4 meters long, second whale shark was bigger at least 6 meters long. Moments like is very hard to explain, you just have to be there and see it with your own eyes to experience this amazing feeling - diving with there 2 giants. Speechless!!!

Last day 2 dives around Koh Bon where we dived Hin Luang and North Ridge were really nice too. We saw leopard shark, stonefish, napoleons and a lot of other crazy creatures!!!

Huge congratulations to all new PADI Advanced Open Water divers: Craig, Jane, Maria, Joaquin - well done guys!!
Also well done to all people who did their PADI Deep Specialty course. Well done Cedric for becoming an open water diver on board of our awesome boat. Your instructor Alex is very proud!

And huge well done to Antoine for doing 2 PADI Discover Scuba Dives dives with instructor Andrew. We hope to see you next season as a certified diver!!!

THANK YOU everyone for this awesome trip!! We love you all!!
