Manta Queen 1 Liveaboard Trip No. 193
Yet another instalment of the Manta Queen 1 adventure on the high seas around the Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock.
Once again we depart for our 4 days and 15 dives in the beautiful Andaman Sea.
This time again with an international flavour with 8 divers from Taiwan, 5 from Germany and others from England, Holland and Japan.
As usual we start in the Similan Islands on Anita's reef, followed by West of Eden, Deep six and night dive in Hideaway bay. The highlight of the day was 2 white tip reef sharks together at Deep six. Elephant Head Rock again an amazing dive with more sharks and stingrays followed by a beach visit and a dive at Three trees with barracudas and turtles.
Heading north to Koh Bon Island for dive three and Koh Tachai Island for our sunset dive we finish the day in Koh Surin where we spend the night.
Richelieu Rock for three dives with great conditions and a myriad of marine life, this site never fails to amaze, seahorse, pipefishes and shoal after shoal of snappers, emperors and jacks.
Our last day was spent mainly on the North and west ridges of Koh Bon with hundreds of emporers and rainbow runners gorging on the glass fish hiding in amongst all the hard corals and bommies.
We finish as usual on the Boonsung Wreck for our last dive of the trip before heading back to Khao Lak.
