3 Days and 3 Nights North Similan Island Tour with Manta Queen 2

Manta Queen 2 left Khao Lak Pier heading towards Koh Bon Island in the evening of the 5th with 17 customers from all around the world.

In the morning we woke up early for the first dive of the trip, in the bay of Koh Bon. This was a nice relaxed check-dive. After breakfast we explored the Koh Bon West Ridge and we saw Maldivian sponge snails, moray eels and a big napoleons wrasse. We had one more dive, at the Koh Bon North Ridge, before heading north towards Koh Tachai Island for the sunset dive at the Dome of Doom. This was everyone's favorite dive today thanks to the big school of barracudas that were circling the top of the Koh Tachai Pinnacle for the entire dive. Very nice!

We slept next to Tachai Island and in the morning we went for another dive at the Dome of Dome. Since we had very nice conditions some of the groups went to check out the northern pinnacle, and it was like finding heaven. So beautiful and relaxing, with fish all around. After this we had breakfast while the captain drove the long way up to Richelieu Rock in the Surin islands marine national park. We spent the rest of the day and 3 dives here, exploring the famous Richelieu Rock. We saw pipefishes, box fish, cuttlefish, barracudas and much much more!

On the 3rd and final day of the trip we woke up outside a rainy Koh Bon. We got ready and jumped in at Koh Bon Hin Luang otherwise known as Koh Bon Pinnacle. We didn't find the stonefish but some groups were super lucky and saw a young WHALESHARK at the safety stop! Awesome! Second dive we jumped at the Koh Bon North Ridge and enjoyed a nice calm dive before we headed back towards mainland and our last dive at Boonsung Wreck. Unfortunately the visibility was very bad but no worries. We still saw plenty of fussilers, pufferfish and batfish. All in all a very nice trip even though there was some rain:)

Thanks everyone for this awesome trip and hope too se you all again! Also, We had a few courses on board. Michael did his PADI Advanced Open Water Course with PADI Instructor Nat and Jia Jia, Li Wu, Wei Yi, Di Wu and Jun Yu became PADI Nitrox certified thanks to instructor Guolin

Well done and congratulations everyone!
