Lucky, lucky, lucky!!! Manta Queen 3 has returned from yet another four day diving adventure, and we were lucky, as always.
Two really big Manta Rays, one at the world famous Koh Bon West Ridge, and one on the very next dive at Koh Tachai Pinnacle! The one at Koh Bon stuck around for about 15 minutes, making pass after pass very close to a few divers. Just lovely. Other highlights from the trip include a Leopard Shark spotted by half the groups at Three Trees, plus many Octopus, Cuttlefish, Seamoths, and loads of Khul's Stingrays. We also had a few Ribbon Eels, both the black males and the brilliant blue females. So nice to see. Add to that all the sunshine and good times on the boat, and you've got an incredible four days in the Similan Islands!
We had several students onboard this trip, and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them for their efforts. Amanda, Vanessa, Stijn and Myra all completed their PADI Nitrox Course, while Gretel, Ingo, Marc and Maddie all finished their PADI Advanced Open Water Course during the trip.
Congratulations to all! So cool! This season in the Similan Islands continues to offer great diving trip after trip. If you've been thinking of coming to do a trip with us here at Khao Lak Scuba Adventures, there is no better time than right now!
