Manta Queen 7 what an amazing trip!

3 night dives! Yeah, we are at it again on the Manta Queen liveaboard! Day one we went to Boonsung Wreck and Koh Bon Island, the usual low visibility at Boonsung only primed our experience for amazing clarity at the West Ridge Koh Bon. From there our trip really took off!

Day two we woke up to find an unusually calm and tranquil Elephant Head Rock with perfect conditions for the swimthrus. At North Point we spotted two Pigmy Pipe Horses to go along with another fantastic visibility dive and Christmas Point was the same. A 1.5 meter Great Barracuda watched us snake through the boulders at Christmas Point!

A nice morning at the Similan Islands and we jet of to the beach before the crowds arrived brought us loads of awesome pictures during our surface interval. A few guests jumped in for a snorkel with a friendly turtle swimming around the boat. We had 3 fantastic dives at Richelieu Rock, where everyone was combing the cracks to find a Frog Fish, plenty of Nudibranches, mating Cuttlefish. Tachai Reef Tachai Dome and Tachais North Pinnacle all in the same day. Schooling Barracuda on the Dome and fusiliers all around were just two highlights of these impressive dive sites. Current slacked away as the day moved on. Koh Bon’s Hin Luang pinnacle gave us some medium current on the popular dive site with a stonefish sitting on the top at 18 meters.

We had a spectacular show by a Pilot Whale breaching the surface next to our boat on the way to Boonsung Wreck. We were lucky to have Mekan our professional photographer on board for the whole trip who captured everyone’s excitement underwater in his beautiful photos.

Congratulations to Sean, now a PADI Nitrox diver and loving the longer bottom time, and also to Priscilla, Mariana, Victor, Liam and Maxime, our 5 new PADI Advanced Open Water divers, enjoy 30 meters in your future diving adventures.

Lastly a massive thank you to all our guests, we had an awesome time with you all and felt the 5 days ended too soon.
